Isopropyl Alcohol (also called Isopropanol and IPA) is the simplest branched alcohol. It is a colourless, clear liquid alcohol, and sees use in various industries. IPA is a chemical intermediate, a carrier solvent, used to depress freezing points, and also sees use in industrial cleaning products.
